This Armring is based on the many similar archaeological finds dating to the Germanic Migration Period and before. These have been found in Scandinavia, as far south as Langobard Italy, as far west as as Burgundian Frankia and all other places the Germanic tribes migrated. This is why some archaeologists have named this style of arm ring "Alemanni" referring to the large confederation of Germanic tribes from the time.

Although there are many like it, this particular design is a replica of an original that is now being kept at the Nationalmuseet in Copenhagen. But you can now own a bracelet just like what was worn more than 1500 years ago.

Armrings were some of the most valuable items in the Viking Age and the most attested pieces of jewelry in the old literature. They were used for multiple purposes such as gift giving, swearing oaths, payment and even in religious rituals.
